It’s officially back to school for our students in the southern hemisphere!

So, with lunches packed, new school uniforms purchased, and workbooks laminated, we wanted to take a moment to wish all our students, teachers and parents in the OneSchool Global community all the very best for this coming year.

We also wanted to extend a warm welcome to children heading to school for the first time and to those who are completing their final year.

The OneSchool Global community is off and running into 2020. Our dedicated and enthusiastic teachers have been preparing and planning for the year ahead, ready to develop learners who “learn how to learn”.

And while we’re at it, here are our top tips for parents who have kids now back at school:

LABEL EVERYTHING!

Particularly for primary aged kids and those little ones just starting out – label everything. Think hats, jumper, backpacks, lunchboxes, pencil cases.

BE POSITIVE

Be positive about kids returning to school. Talk about how much they will learn, seeing their friends and teachers. It will make the experience less daunting for kids if they see you talking about going to school in a positive light.

BREAK HOLIDAY HABITS

We all let the kids stay up a little later and eat more sugary treats. Now it the time to reign in those holiday habits and set up a nightly routine during the school term.

Attended by families from the Plymouth Brethren Christian Church (PBCC), OneSchool Global has over 130 campuses across the globe, with over 1500 hardworking teachers and support staff that provide a world class, modern education for over 9500 students.

The OneSchool Global community looks forward to celebrating many important milestones throughout the year. All the very best for the year head!
