As part of the Federal Government’s economic response to COVID-19, millions of Australians will receive another $750 cash injection from this week.

The $750 Economic Support Payment is designed to help Australians during the pandemic.

It is the second round of these types of payments this year – with the Treasurer indicating no plans for a third round.

Am I eligible?

If you received the first payment in March or April this year, you may be eligible for the second payment.

It also includes those on various government pensions including disability, age and veteran service pensions, as well as those who possess a seniors health card or pensioners concession card.

If you claim Family Tax Benefit A or B you will also receive the payment as a lump sum.

Unfortunately, if you are already receiving a government COVID-19 payment, you will not be eligible for this $750.

I am eligible, how do I claim the payment?

If you are eligible, the lump sum will be paid directly into your bank account, with payments expected to hit accounts between today and the end of the month.

If you claim Family Tax Benefit (FTB) A or B you will also receive the payment as a lump sum.
