The Rapid Relief Team (RRT), the charitable arm of the Plymouth Brethren Christian Church (PBCC), has helped to kick a goal for sick kids in hospital by supporting the Starlight Children’s Foundation Kick 4 Kids soccer fun day.
Kick 4 Kids is a fun day for companies to enjoy some fun social competition and networking all while helping bring joy and happiness to seriously ill children in hospital. It’s a soccer competition with a difference!
Teams fundraise for Starlight before the day with incentives to earn bonus goals. Teams picked up their boots and helped to raise more than $100,000 to help brighten the lives of seriously sick kids and their families.

RRT helped out by providing 150 meals – and in doing so, gave a hand to 2,000 sick kids.
RRT Director Mick Dunn said RRT was delighted to support Starlight’s efforts to bring a smile to the faces of kids battling serious illness.
“Starlight creates fun and happiness for sick kids and their families in the toughest of times, so naturally we want to be on hand to provide whatever assistance we can,” Mr Dunn said.
“The Kick 4 Kids event is a great way for the business community to get behind Starlight and show support for kids and families in need.”
