The health and safety of the public and volunteers is of paramount importance to the Rapid Relief Team (RRT), and we have a duty of care to safeguard this in response to the rapidly evolving situation regarding the Novel Coronavirus (COVID-19) pandemic.

RRT has assessed the risk associated with hosting our Operation Fire Relief events in Malua Bay & Bodalla next week, 26 and 27 March respectively, and in accordance with recent government regulations and advice from health authorities, we regretfully have taken the decision to cancel these events.

We’re devastated we can no longer proceed with the physical event, however, we are steadfast in our commitment to supporting the NSW South Coast community in their efforts to rebuild in the wake of the bushfires that impacted the region over summer.

As such, bushfire victims who have registered and qualify for support will still receive their $1000 cash voucher.

To accommodate the current biosecurity restrictions in place, we will be now be contacting recipients separately and will make appropriate arrangements to deliver the vouchers that will not risk the health and safety of anyone.

Registrations can be made online at https://www.rapidreliefteam.org/fire-relief-registration/
